Re: WTB or Trade-V6 4X4 Parts

Sorry, I haven't been on here in a couple of days, trying to get some work done outside while the weather is still nice!

1969stepside,

Have you seen Jolly's 60-66 GMC site?
http://www.6066gmcguy.org/
Lots of information there and there are quite a few guys on this board that have V-6s as well.

special-K,

The towers and crossmembers are different, at least from what I've seen. Are your's from a 2WD?

Kager,

Where are you at in Nort' Dakota? You should have left the truck in DL, it's only about 20 miles away! I'd like to see pics when you can get them.

John,

PM sent.

Thanks guys!

Bob

Here's a pic of the crossmember/mounts on mine. Hope it helps. If you need another LMK.

Re: WTB or Trade-V6 4X4 Parts

Tim,

Are you talking about one of these two pieces? Kinda hard to see the whole thing where it bolts to the block, this one's got a little grease on it! The frame mount is for a 2WD.

Re: WTB or Trade-V6 4X4 Parts

WyoRoadDog,

Do you have a pic of your bellhousing? The parts book only shows one bellhousing that is used in both 2 and 4WD applications.

Re: WTB or Trade-V6 4X4 Parts

That's exactly what I was looking for. Yours is the same as the ones I have from 2WD trucks. Thanks!

Re: WTB or Trade-V6 4X4 Parts

Bringing this one to the top again, I'm still looking for another 4X4 V-6 engine crossmember from a 67-69 GMC.
