+1988 Backspace = Our Back Space????

I have the chance to buy some 20's off a 1994 2WD. They would be for my 83 2WD Suburban. I know the bolt patterns are the same, but what about the back spacing???? I searched but couldn't find the answer.

The front isn't bad but the rear is off. I don't know the exact specs, but do know they are in too far in the rear.

I would pass.

Re: +1988 Backspace = Our Back Space????

When I did a lot of trucks from 88-98 era, I usually used a 5 inch backspace on an 8 inch wheel when the truck was lowered.

When you install the 5 inch backspace wheel on an 87 and earlier truck, it sets too far in under the fenders.
