Okay, so I walk out to the parking garage to go to lunch from work, and what a nice surprise someone left me - my rear bumper is bent and pushed into the driver's side quarter panel on my '05! To make mattes worse, said quarter panel is now into the bottom edge of the tailgate and I couldn't open it. The best part is that I'm moving this weekend, and have a nonfunctional tailgate kinda takes away from the ability to use the bed for moving stuff....

On top of this, my '69 has been sitting at a local body shop for a month (the work is finished) because the shop that dented in my door and cab are dragging their feet to pay the $750 in damage they caused. I'm really not having much luck here lately!

Does the parking garage have cameras? You might check on that...might luck out.

Also, keep an eye out for damaged vehicles in there, you might luck out later on and find one that did the deed.....I wish you luck and hate this happened to you.

Dont worry Karma has a way of dealing with folks who hit parked cars and dont make it right.

I've asked around, and supposedly there are cameras out there. I'm gonna head to the security office after work and check for sure. My luck will probably turn out that I was parked just out of the range of the security cam....

You need to do it quick because most of those tapes are only good for 24 hrs.

was in that same position with my 04silverado// didnt know if i should be mad at ,,the person who hit me or GM who did away with real bumpers and went with crumple zones

I know the feeling. The 2nd day I had my 03' z71 I had a buggy ding the front quarter panel so I put a 6" suspension lift on it... Subsequently, somebody decided that backing into the rear bumper would be a good idea. Now I have a dented rear bumper... it sucks...
