Re: If you missed the last Trucks show

[QUOTE=kttrucks;3329774]there is entirely too much tread on those FIrestone Firehawks.... rest assured there will be burnouts! I dont have any pics of my personal '66 here on my work computer but I'll try to remember to send some from home when I log on to read all the abuse I'll get from my other posts! LOL!

Just keeping you honest. And we need some kind of shout out like, these burn outs are for all you guys who have been watching this project for the last 3 years. I know you have writers but try to work it in.

It's never too late for a build thread on that 66.

Re: If you missed the last Trucks show

Actually, we are the writers..... there are no outside influences other than Ryan, Myself, and obviously some advertisers. Ryand and I, along with our director cooperatively produce the shows, so what you see is all our doing, like it or love it. I've worked on other TV shows for other production companies and much prefer it this way. as far as it keeping us honest, I like that the buck stops with us. Dont hold back if you've got a acritisizm of the shows..... we want bad feedback too!

Thanks!

KT.

Re: If you missed the last Trucks show

You've heard all of my gripes. It seems like it took forever to wrap up. Oh, and the under hood black was way too shiny, but that's a personal decision. Bottom line is that truck looks great and we all want to see it on the road. Preaching to the quire, I know. I'm a little pissed that you beat me to final assembly on my truck too. Nothing personal.

Re: If you missed the last Trucks show

KT,
I had my 66 for 5 yrs and at the same time had been watching and taping your show for several too. I was having my house painted and pulled the truck out from beside my house to finally work on it and get it running (my father-in-law died and I towed it to FL. from Alabama not running). That same day I went in the house to take a break from rebuilding my carb and there ya'll were trying to get this 66 cranked, I thought I can't beleive it of all days to start working on MY 66 you guys were doing a show on one also. Anyways I took alot of your advise, bought a 71 frame stripped it sand blasted it and powder coated it and now I have about half of it done including a custom brazillian walnut bed wood floor. The truck is a c20 and I'm building it into a c10 instead because I already own a jacked up F350 and an f250 too.
