1979 gmc

Hey Y'all,

I have a 1979 GMC and i have some questions...

1. What transmission did they come with? Turbo 350? The motor is a 350.
2. What gear ratios did they have?
3.How much hp and tq did the 350 have. t has a four-barrel carb.

Thanks!

Re: 1979 gmc

it might have a th350 or a th400. the best way to tell is the shape of the pan and if it has a kickdown solenoid by the shift linkage on the driver's side. the solenoid means th400.
