Need help locating a fuse
I've got an '05 Chevy Silverado. The 12V outlet closest to the driver has stopped working, but the one on the passenger side still does. I found a fuse in the underhood box labeled "CIG LTR". Checked it, and it's good. But, this fuse is for the outlet on the passenger side. I could not find the fuse for the other outlet. Am I just not seeing it or is it labeled differently? (and yes I did check the panel behind the door) Why can't everything be simple like my '67? Why?

Re: Need help locating a fuse
I would think the one fuse would work both of them. You may pull the 12v port out and see if maybe it came unplugged. Could also just be a bad unit. Sorry I can't help you more.

Re: Need help locating a fuse
They are fused separately. I can't remember the name of the fuse off the top of my head but it says something accessory. Most likely it's just blown from a bad cell phone charger or similar.

Re: Need help locating a fuse
There are a few fuses labeled "something" accessory. I'll check them tomorrow. I blew the fuse, that's all I'll say. I'd rather not explain how.

Re: Need help locating a fuse
Checked my truck yesterday, and there is a seperate fuse called Aux Power. It is for the Aux power port in the console, or the second one in the dash if you don't have a console. The fuse is in the box in the engine bay. Hope this helps, and sorry I didn't have more info yesterday about it.
