OEM Fuel Gauge question

I am in the process of restoring a factory dash cluster, utilizing gauges from several clusters, and came across a difference in the 2 warning lights on the fuel gauges. Some gauges say "brake" and "temp" on the 2 lights, and one gauge says "tandem lock" and "overspeed" on the 2 lights. Were these tied to different options on the truck? Thanks.

Re: OEM Fuel Gauge question

The "tandem lock" and "overspeed" guage came out of a larger truck with three axles. The tandem locked the front and rear difffs together for more traction, and the overspeed refers to engine RPM's.
