Silverado/trail blazer SS wheels

Hey,

Has anyone seen a 67-72 with the newer Silverado/trailblazer SS wheels on them? is there a reason why people havent done it ? Would i have to bore out the center of the wheels to fit the bigger hubs in back?

Im curious as to how it would look. What do you all think?

If anyone can photoshop, that would be great.

The center bore wouldn't fit as you mentioned, the back spacing is all wrong, and then after all that, they most lkely wouldn't look very good.
The wheels that look best on these have curved lines. Torque thrusts, craigers, wheels like that. Personally, those wheels don't look atll that good even on that truck they came on.

I thought about trying my 06 wheels on my 72, but the backspacing is really far off. Look at this dish you have on your truck vs that new truck. It would look bad have the dish area flipped around if you know what I am saying.

If they are cheap of free use em, but you'll need a wheel spacer. You can get the truck side bigger and the wheel side smaller (for the hub sizes) no issue there, but running a spacer full time is something I am leary of, up to you, it is your's if you like em run em.

a black short step... esp a 67/68 is like a dream truck of mine... but that thing looks "off" with those wheels.
Again... in MY opinion.
If you like it, and you trust big 'ole spacers, then go for it.

Agreed, 2"-3" spacers are not in my future!! 20's can be had for not much $$$ and made to fit your ride and many styles available out there!
