JY sway bar question -
I got this sway bar off a 1-ton at the JY - it's a 1-1/4" bar, but my question is, it has a lot of scaling/rust on it, and I wanted to clean it up before I installed it. If I clean off the scaling, will it make the urethane bushings fit too loosely? Has anyone ever done this before?

Mine was in similar condition when I got it and I hit it with the wire wheel attachment on my grinder. I didn't cause any installation problems. I think you should be fine.
