How tall should a bed dolly be?

I need to build a quick bed dolly to transport a bed and store it for a few weeks. How tall should a bed dolly be?

it could be whatever height you really want it to be.

Make it adjustable, or maybe even in sections so it can be collapsed for easy storage.

Re: How tall should a bed dolly be?

2' tall to the bed floor will at least keep it off the ground, but 3' would make it easier to do body work on. I kept mine on 2.5' tall sawhorses and it was the perfect height to work on it.

Re: How tall should a bed dolly be?

mine is about 30 inches tall also. the way i came up with the height was
to make the dolly high enough to clear the side walls on my utility trailer
with the bed on it. it just happens to work out really good.
