Thanks! That does help. I see where the top bolts too, but what about the bottom? I also see that I'll be running into an issue with the top right. The part that bolts onto the exhaust bolt. With headers on the bolt is closer to the engine.

Top one goes into the head, lower inside bolt goes onto the front of the water pump, and the outer hooks to the bracket off the exhaust manifold. The lower one should be long slotted for adjustment along with the bracket on the outside. It pivots off the top bolt.
I can get you a pic a little later if that doesnt help. Last edited by Joe R; 06-10-2009 at 11:06 AM. Reason: added info |

I don't think your gonna get a pic of the one on the bottom. It's real hard to see. It goes on the bottom back side of the resevoir, it'll bolt toward the bottom of the block and should probably stretch to the other bracket on the header bolts. It's the skinny long one. It should be one of first parts of the accessories to go back on. The other stuff bolts right about were you would think. The one I just did was on an 82'--so I'm not sure they are exactly the same.

Looks like your manifold bracket is different than mine. Here are a couple shots I was able to get hope they help.
![]() ![]() ![]() Actually read it wrong, the other guy that posteds manifold bracket is a bit different than mine. Mine is a non-a/c model so that may be the difference. All I did when I added the headers is get a long grade 5 bolt and a steel spacer sleeve and trim it to fill in the gap with a washer on each end. Last edited by Joe R; 06-10-2009 at 05:59 PM.
