I can't give you any ideas at this point but I have been kicking this around too. The salvage yard 2 miles from me melts aluminum every couple of weeks and the owner said to get my molds made up and he would call me when they were pouring ingots. How cool is that!!! I took a class on metal casting when I lived at Davenport, IA and it was a lot of fun. LockDoc

Re: Need Ideas
I have a home foundry that I havent operated in several years- It melts and pours 25 lbs of aluminum. We use sand casting and 2 part molds. ( I used to make Historical markers and plaques)
I had been thinking that I might make an Aluminum Finned air cleaner to match my vintage Wieand valve covers.....hmmmm Cost at about a grand to set up, I can help with info if needed-Chuck |

Re: Need Ideas
Suburban/blazer rear seat hold down brackets, emblems (any and all), suburban roof rack stands, suburban liftgate handle, suburban tailgate keylock surround, ignition lock cylinder for 67s, ....that's all I can think of right now, .

Front Tow Hooks, Yah I know they would be weak, but let's face reality here. How many of you guys really "USE" your 400.00 tow hooks? LOL

Rob, I think you might have meant to say ignition switch spacer for the 67's. The lock cylinder is the same as 68-72 LockDoc
