Re: Lizzard skin , Por-15, other ...

I've heard people using everything from Line-X to Por-15. I'm not at that point yet on my cab, but when I get ready I'll be using the Raptor lining. I've read and heard good things about using it as an undercoating. I'm sure you'll get several replies with different opinions on this subject.

POR-15 will prevent rust. Lizard Skin is for heat/sound insulation

I Would do some good primer and seal it then liz skin .
I have been told that the bed liners have small holes in it. then if you but a light under it you could see light threw the liner....

I saw a rubberized aerosol 3M product called Underseal that looked pretty promising. I don't know if anyone has any experience with it though.

Wow. lot of responses but no real life uses. I have used Lizard skin, por15, and Alsliner.

Lizard skin is awesome, but spendy. Por 15 is for rust protection and nothing really beats sandblasting then spraying with epoxy, not even por15.

Alsliner i have used 3 or 4 times... Sprays just like linex when done right, EXTREMELY durable... 100 bucks and you could do your whole bed. I used one gallon to do my underside of my cab, and my core support.. I PUT IT ON THICK.....

I have pics in my build thread.
