Exclamation Need a good repair manual

I have a copy of Chilton's 1988 edition for 1970-87 Chevy/GMC, but I don't like it very much. I'd like to get a hold of a factory approved manual or something similar. I tried www.helminc.com but they don't have anything. I've got a Helm manual for my '02 Camaro that's three books and several thousand pages on nothing but the '02 Camaro. Is there anything out there for my factory forgotten '86 Chevy?

If Helms don't have any, ebay will probably be your best bet. A lot of the guys here have bought theirs on ebay. I got mine for my 85 at Helms site though.

I went back to Helm and did a search for GMC instead. Bingo! I'm gonna give them a call and see what comes with the "complete set."

I wonder why they don't have a listing for Chevy???

I got my '86 manuals from Helm about a year ago. The complete set was the electrical system schematics, complete repair manual, and a "unit assembly" manual or something like that. The third one has details on the engine, transmission, rear end, etc.
