beds in a box

I'm not selling anything so don't freakout! Have any of you guys bought a complete bed? I've been looking around since good ol ILL has nothing to offer for original. Just wanted to get some reviews on quality and if the pricing is pretty much the same everywhere.

oldno7,

I bought a completely new bed for my truck...bed floor, fenders, tailgate, wheel wells, front panel, etc.....My body shop put it together and was very surprised how well it went together....if you want a brand new bed....I'd recommend it!!!...click on my build thread in my signature for a pic....

Re: beds in a box

i`ve heard nothing but good on complete beds. The pricing will be pretty much the same wherever you go,unless someone is high and you`ll know it from all their other prices.

Re: beds in a box

The bed on my 68 is entirely from Goodmark. Fit together very nicely.

Re: beds in a box

A good friend of mine recently bought a goodmark unit (complete) for his 4x4 and it went together very nicely. It is worth the cost vs time with a body shop and the locating time required for a good unit.

I got cut off with a important phone call and submitted before I said what I wanted to. I know its not about the original post but just from looking at the photos I think the body shop did a fantastic job on your truck. Photos don't always show the quality but yours looks so good in the photos I would love to see it in person. By the way your shop should have checked the frame before hand, we tell people this all the time but at $98 per hour most people do not think its necessary. Then the wonder why parts don't fit

Sorry to interrupt this thread
