Unhappy Both rear coils busted at top

Was crawling around under the truck getting trailer wiring on it and noticed that about the last 1.5-2" of the upper wrap on both coils are broken off.
The look like moog comfort coil springs and still ride where they should (were in there when I bought the truck). I don't think that they can get all the way out by working around the retainer but it just kinda worried me.
If I do decide to replace them since I am going to be towing a car trailer quite a bit now how rough to the HD Moog coils ride? I need front ones the most since somebody had screwed in those spacers just go get the drivers side up where it kinda belongs.
