67 steering column

Guys I need your help badly!!! I manged to screw up the upper shift collar(where the shifter handle--automatic) mounts. It was already cracked where someone pulled the handle back too hard(seen on alot of collars). I got the thing hung up by my great wisdom and had to try tapping it back off. That resulted in denting and generally messing it up. It now looks like it was thrown in the highway while doing about 80. Do you guys know what other year shafts I can use as a donor or where I might buy something like this without a second mortgage!!!??? I don't know where to even start looking short of driving all over h--- half acre trying to find one. I am hoping some newer models might use the same style , but don't know???All suggestions are greatly appreciated!!I really wanted to finish this up today and drive my truck home. I guess you could could say I am more mad at myself on this one, pure dumn a----.
