turn signals?

Why does this 65 GMC not have turn signals? I thought they were mandatory in 62 or something?
I guess I'll have to find another 456 column with signals?

Yes a '65 GMC should have turnsignals. Have you looked to see if maybe just the lever is broke or missing?

What the heck.

I went to go take a pic, and upon closer inspection, I noticed that the lever had been removed and the ring it goes through rolled around so that the hole was on the bottom, so I couldn't see it. It looked like there was no hole for a lever. Wow. I'm a retard today.

The nice thing is- If the switch is still intact- it's just a matter of 1 screw( at least it was in my case- 66 GMC) holding the lever to the switch.
