Need help with non tilt column 71 1/2 ton
I have my non tilt column apart to refinish it and have a question about the bushing in the mast. One of my guys took it apart for me and I have a steel washer which I believe goes in the mast first and there is supposed to be a bushing sitting on top of that washer or seat. I have a rubber bushing that I believe goes there because the bowl has a place on the bottom that fits into the rubber bushing. Then the shifter housing goes on and there is a plastic washer looking piece that fits into the bowl (I think) and that is all I have. Is there another rubber bushing that fits inside this plastic piece. I have an exploded view of the non tilt column I got from this site but the pic is to small to make out the part very well. Any help would be great ! Any pics of these parts would be good too !
Thanks JP |

Ok I found the problem. I am missing the plastic washer with the tab that goes in the mast on top of the steel washer seat.
Gonna try to find one tomorrow. JP Last edited by JP2120; 06-17-2009 at 11:57 PM. |
