We were also warned that the high frequencies generated from the engine are the damaging ones -the ones you don't hear as much. We wore ear plugs and head sets most of the time, but, there still was some damage. But, kudos to you for going forward with this. Someone had to slap one in one of our trucks. I thought it was just a show type truck not a driver... What engine do you have? |

It is cool! You know it must freak people out to hear a jet engine pulling up behind them at a red light!

That is way cool! As an Army guy, that sound reminds me of an Abrams. Is there a place to mount a cannon?

Trying to answer al you questions. I got the turbine after a long search on the net. Avon Aero in Indiana had it. They don't have anymore. As for the luggage I don't have to check luggage anymore.
It is fun to drive. People hear it and follow me to where i am going so they can see it. Going to the airport to fuel is a real experience. |

Re: turbine powered 1968 GMC featured in this months HOT ROD mag
I've seen some jet turbine cars that were setup to use all sorts of fuel, like Tequila. Think the Abrams is this way too. Why can't you do that on this?
I ask, because I wonder how much trouble it is to fill up when your out of town with it |
