Re: Summit Racing Rack & Pinions

I plan on using the SUM-770602 for my C4 Dropmember install. The one you picked out is a manual which has the 4.1 turns lock to lock. Why not switch to power?

I believe those are made by Uni-Steer for Summit. good deal if you want a fancy looking rack.

You can get one from Autozone or Orileys for less then $100 they are plain black like on stock Mustangs and come with a lifetime warranty

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

It's an aluminum powdercoat, and looks nice. They're quality racks and as mentioned are rebuilt by Unisteer.

At PB's recommendation, this is what I went with for my DM install. It looks good, and is working well. Oh... and the price was darned good.
