More wierd (rare) options (pic)

Any one ever seen "B30" " Floor carpeting" listed on a truck?? I parted this truck about 4 years ago. I have never seen this option on any other truck? This truck would have had a rubber mat as standard. I wounder it you could have Deleted the carpet on a Cheyenne???

Teh carpet one, would that be just getting carpeting in a truck without the CST package?

Single Speed Rear A
I beleive it is a single speed axle. Some of the heavy duty trucks came with a 2 speed rear end. Somebody correct me if Im wrong.

Joe, i have seen int, only once though.
As for the axle, it does seem to describe a normal axle...but I don't see why it would list it as an option on a 3/4 ton truck. The 2 speed axle didn't even come into play untill 1 1/2 ton if memory serves....

Many years ago, Columbia built a 2 speed for cars & trucks, but I don't think Chevy ever offered it as an option....Zoomy

Don't hold me to this, but I think the Eaton axles were available in 2-speed versions, but I still cannot offer an explanation for it being listed on the glovebox sticker.

My GMC has the paint stripe too, but unfortunately it was crappily repainted somewhere along the line...but wouldn't it be hard to see the contrast between yellow paint and a white stripe... maybe some were dark?

joesjunk, Where is the paint stripe on that green truck?? Is it that very faint line where the belt trim would be??? It's hard to tell from the pic?

My glove box says mine had a paint stripe too....i just assumed it meant the the white below the side moulding. Is it like a pin stripe or something?

Yep, The paint stripe was where the belt moulding would be. It was just a double line pin stripe ( painted on ).

Mine looks like it was painted on a Monday morning by someone with a bad hangover. It's pretty crooked along the bed. I don't think it's all that rare an option.
