Rim and tire question

this guy wants to buy my 06 rims off my silverado, previously on a tahoe, will they fit on his 97 suburban, theyre 17 inch aluminum rims, look like sunflowers, i hated them

That depends. The 97 1/2 2WD suburban wheels are only 5 lug, your rims are probably 6 lug. If his is a 1/2 4WD they should be 6 lugs and will work.

ok, when i got my 2006, my 92 wheels didnt fit on the 2006, and they were both 6 lug, so im just not sure(i was using steel rims from my old truck for snow tires)

Probably clearance with the disk brake caliper. I have not had any issues with bolt patterns as long as they clear the calipers.
