Need opinion on stripes

Well my wife loves the big racing or hood stripes she sees on certain Camaro and mustangs and she asked if we could get them put on the Suburban. I am not sure if I like them that much.

Just trying to get some feedback. Thoughts?

Re: Need opinion on stripes

My opinion is to just leave the truck the way it is. I think the stripes would take away from the truck. Plus it is two tone to begin with...

Racing stripes belong on cars that race, I think they look Whiskey Tango on a truck, but that's my opinion, not really worth much. The Burb looks sweet as is

I gotta vote no. I think it looks great just the way it is!

Re: Need opinion on stripes

I agree, the big stripes don't work for me.

Not to hijack, but I saw somewhere that stripes were an option, true or false?
Mine had them (original owner but was repainted at some point).

I say do it! When mama's happy....well you know the rest, . White on the hood and blue on the roof. You could probably get a vinyl sign shop to make you some and if you decide you don't like them, strip'em off, .

Re: Need opinion on stripes

Well I talked to the wife and no stripes. I have too many others things to fix or update and the money for the painted stripes could be better spent on other things.

Thanks for the feedback.
