Tranny pan seal

Im starting to get pissed off at my tranny pan!! I have put 2 new gaskets on it done perfectly and it is still leaking all around the gasket. No, than pan is not bent or anything its just gay. I heard from someone that if I were to put Permatex on the pan instead of a gasket it would stop my leaking.......do you think this would work?

well, I've always used a gasket with oreange rtv on both sides of it, and can't remeber having any trouble with it like that.

sometimes the bolts stress the metal around the pan, take a strait edge and lay it along the bolt holes on the gasket side and see if its raised in between the bolt holes.

I always place a thin layer of gasket sealer to help keep the gasket in place. This could help as well. You also might get a 2nd gasket to double up and if the pan is slightly bent this will help seal it better.
