1984 GMC rear leaf ?'s
Hey All,
A bud of mine say's that he thinks my rear leafs are wrong and someone may have put them in their current position to lift the truck. I am enclosing two photos left and right side rear. Could you guy's take a look at them and tell me if he is right, and if it is messed with, what would be the proper procedure to put them back to the stock position, with the least amount of bodily injury possible. your shackles are backwards, shouldnt make a difference

Here's pics of from both ends of my 84 GMC's right leaf springs. Yours looks the same as mine as far as I can tell, but I'm no expert.

They are correct as they are. Your buddy must be a car guy who is used to seeing the shackle mounted to the frame above the spring rather than from below.
