Vortec Heads Intake Manifold
Does anybody know a intake manifold with EGR for Vortec heads, I know Edelbrock makes one for 96 and up heads, but I dont think that would work with my '80 350 block and some Iron Vortec Heads.

yes, it will work. but the EGR must be plumbed externally, as the Vortec heads have no exhaust crossover passage.

I just wanted to make sure on those Vortec heads and manifold: They'll fit on my '77 350 no problemo? I'd hate to spend that much cash for the wrong parts.

they should.. just have to use different valve covers and intake..that and as long as your cam doesnt have too much lift..

Stock vortec motors use a hole in the drivers side exasut manifold to send exaust gases into the EGR valve. Thats external. On normal heads, there is a port inside the head that lets exaust gases escape the exaust port back to the EGR valve.

They sure do, but then you need to pull the pressed in rocker studs and tap them for screw in studs so you can use guideplates. Its a good idea anyways, but some people dont wanna fork over the extra cash on mild applications [like my 383 back in the day when I got my vortecs]
