Happy Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day to all those fathers out there.

I hope your day goes as good as mine so far.

Here's a quick recap:

6:00 Awake

6:05 woke up my 13 yr old son and 11 yr old daughter

6:15 turning wrenches in the garage (had to pull engine out of my sub)

8:30 engine out and on the ground

8:50 already cleaned up and at the local diner having fathers day breakfast with family (Wife and six kids!)

9:45 back home and kicked back

Once again, Happy Fathers Day!

Re: Happy Fathers Day

Badsam, sounds like you got most of a day in by the time I had finished breakfast.Of course living in a small town makes getting to the diner quick.I hope the rest of your day goes as well.

Re: Happy Fathers Day

Mine consisted of getting up early and going to work, not much fun there.

Re: Happy Fathers Day

7am got woken up by my two and half year old twin boys, got two cards, a CD and thoroughly jumped on in bed, got up, went to the church to put flowers on my daughters grave as she would have been eight years old tomorrow (and my also on my late mother-in-laws grave as they're both in the same churchyard) then back home to watch the Britsh Grand Prix on the TV whilst eating a very nice sausage, bacon and mushroom sandwich.

Re: Happy Fathers Day

I'm on the west coast so I just got up a while ago. We will be taking my Dad to brunch in a bit. I cleaned up my truck's heater controls yesterday and will be putting those back in this afternoon. My Wife and the boy are getting me one of those ABS covers so I won't have to look at my cracked and faded dash pad anymore.
