I did Mike, just didn't really see where you said I should look for a said sale.

Cool, and here I did not think I wanted to lower my truck at all. But with all the PITA that the front end rebuild will be - hey, what the hell, may as well drop the ol' beast down a little. Now if I can just get you to make that Center Consol for me, eh Mike?

Should I invest in a set of nitro-drop shocks?

Jeff

I knew by the way you were talking a while back, it wouldn't take you long to come over to the dark side. We don't wear black though.

Yes, I would get a set of Doestch Tech Nitro Drops.

As far as looking for said sale, look no further. Hint. Hint.

I would get a torch and a tape measure. Then heat the springs until it gets as low as you want it

sure and while you're at it why dont you just cut them hoses that come off of your master cylinder, you dont need them either. that big heavy looking wheel thing on top of your steering column? its just a "comfort option" no need for that stuff!

BTW, if you were serious about heating the springs... look here...

I just dont have an Avatar *here*.

Not gonna bother with one until I at least have 100 posts or so, maybe some cash to kick in the direction of the board.

Anyway, looking back through the post I saw a mention of something being in the 'for sale' forum, yet I could find no such thing.

But if you mean something else..hehe.. should that person become interested in selling, I would very much be interested in buying

So guys, should I buy the 1" drop coils along with my spindles 4" drop springs so I can rest assured that the truck will sit 'level' if not lower in the front than the rear. And take care of my sagging pass-side coil as well?

From what I can tell if I do that, I'll have a total cost invested of 963.74. (Rebuild kit, springs, coils, nitroslammer shocks, 2.5" spindles)

That does not of course include any 'deals' I may or may not wander across.

I agree! This is what we did back in the day before man reinvented the wheel. I look back and laugh
