68 rear leaf spring bushings
Well I finnally got my diy4x shackle flip bolted up today (Yea I'm slow)
I want to replace the bushings in my stock leaf springs (at least the rear) But I remembered that the 68s are not 2.5" across like later years. I measured to double check and they seem to be 3" wide and 1 1/4" tall. I just want to double check if this is right before I go and order some new bushings. Also has anyone bought poly bushings for their 67 or 68? I plan to call energy suspension tomorrow to see if they have any. Thanks.

Re: 68 rear leaf spring bushings
I have..
there kits worked for me except for the front spring since I have the HD front suspension on the K-10, they made it right though and sent an extra set when we figured out the problems. Have fun getting those old bushings out... PITA!

Re: 68 rear leaf spring bushings
FWIW, when I ordered new bushing for my truck years ago, they sent me the wrong ones. the outside was OK, but they were to narrow for my springs. i just put them in the drill press, and hand lathed them to fit my springs.
and I 2nd the good luck on getting the old ones out.
