72 cheyenne without headliner?

Owner says he had truck down to bare metal prior to paint and no holes, filled or otherwise for headliner. SPID shows Z84. Owner states never had a headliner. Anyone seen a Cheyenne that came from the factory without a headliner?

That was part of the package not an option with the z84 cheyenne option, just like lower molding cigar lighter, door activated dome light, bright trim around windows, chrome front bumper, carpeted floor and special insulation.

Re: 72 cheyenne without headliner?

the only time I have ever seen a Z84 without headliners, was the first 1/2 of 1969 when it was still called CST. The headliner and cargo light were both new options in 69, and didn't make it till half way through.
Is there a chance that the cab was swapped? Or maybe the glove box lid swapped? Was the rest of the Z84 stuff there? Does the owner seem to know what he is talking about?
