Measurements for mirror placement

I finally got every thing ordered to get my mirrors put on, mirror heads, gaskets, ect. Now all I need is the measurements for the placement on the door. Any help(with pics if you can) would be great. I included an example picture of the mirrors I'm running. Thanks in advance.

Ask and ye shall receive...

There is a backer plate inside the door. I hope they come with the mirrors.

Re: Measurements for mirror placement

Actually, I can't see spending 5 to 10 bucks on a plate that I can make myself. So I did. I just used a piece of I think it was 3" stainless flat stock, cut to length, drill, tap and ta da. Well i don't have pics, but you get the idea. Thanks by the way. I'll have to go out and drill the holes so it's ready when the parts get here.

Hmmmmmmmm.
I learn something every day. I never realized that the mirror arms were different lengths.
