noob from Idaho Territory
After many years of raising kids and working too hard, I'm gonna play some more now. Besides my son is old enough now to participate. He's got a 52 five-window and I found a 68 gold and white C10. How do I tell if the 68 is a 50th anniversary edition?
Anyway, sure glad to find some fellow Chevy nuts. |

Re: noob from Idaho Territory
to the board from Mid-MO!!!
You'll find this place to become your second home. I believe there are special privileges (interior, paint,...) that should be listed on the SPID (on the inside of the glovebox lid) that will signify a true 50th anniversary edition truck. There have been several threads posted in the 67-72 Message Board recently about the 50th Ann. trucks. Best of luck with the projects, and be sure to get your son out there with you. And by the way... we love pics!!!!

Re: noob from Idaho Territory
Hey thanks for all the welcomes and well wishes.
I did a search and came up with 556 hits on 50th anniversary, spent an hour and a half reading really interesting stuff on this board, but nothing on what denotes a true 50th edition pickup. |

Re: noob from Idaho Territory
SPUD?!!?? Nah, them are those southern boys, I'm up north a little more. We raise wheat and trees up here. Lewiston to be exact.
I'm gonna try and post some pics, but not here. I probably should post them in the appropriate thread.
