Gauging Interest in a K5 part-out ***dial-up warning, lots of pics***
If the truck doesn't sell whole locally, I might be parting out a 1990/91 K5 blazer, forget which. This was a truck restored for my father back around 2002 and after he blew a headgasket a little while ago he parked it and doesn't want it anymore.
To keep it board friendly with pricing, here's a few bits and pieces with prices, if I get enough interest and people who want things to make it worth while, I'll trailer it down and start taking it apart: Doors: power window/locks, no mirrors $150/pr Tailgate with power window, some rust starting on inner lip and paint lifting $75 Buckets: $200/set Console: $50 Door panels: $150/set Rims: $150/set Fenders: $100/pr Hood: $50 Radiator support with lights/grille/bezels/wiring $200 Front bumper: $50 I'd be looking to start cutting it up most likely after the 4th of July holiday if the interest is there. Lots of pics to follow that were from this past March after the snow thawed. Before anyone asks, dashpad is cracked, and the drivetrain is a 350tbi/700-4r BUT I wasn't looking to sell that whole or as anything other than a functioning core for rebuild - he's an older retired guy and although the whole truck was mint when it was restored for him, I can't claim he was the best on its maintinance - headgasket let go which led to it being parked, and before that I know the t-case had a slow fluid leak as did one of the transmission seals. If there was interest in the other larger items probably $30 with the horn button etc complete plus shipping, but it would depend on selling larger parts first.
