c clip eliminators
How crucial are c clip eliminators, I have a 454 with a 177 blower 3600 stall and a 4:11 posi rear. Im takin her to the track tonight for the first time in a long time and with this setup. My mind keeps going to i should have c clip eliminators, i just finished body and paint last thing i want is a wheel and axle assembly to come flying out.
probably just have the jitters. |

Re: c clip eliminators
IMO, very important. i snapped an axle at the track first i went with my '69. axle came out and i know have a huge dent in my bedside and tail gate. are you runnin slick or street tires? youd probably be alrite with street tires cause they wont hook good, but with slicks, id recommend c-clip elimantors and aftermart axles. Chris.

Re: c clip eliminators
that sucks. sounds like the luck i have. if ya blew the trans 2nd pass, sounds like you've got enough power to do a lot better than 14's. hang in there. chris.
