neutral safety switch
I have been trying to replace the neutral safety switch in my 73 cheyenne super 10 454
I have been back to the part store 3 times trying to find a switch that resembles the one in my truck, what they say is supposed to go in there does not match what is in there. My truck has the 400 turbo, hydromatic trans? not sure what it's called but have heard it called both names by several people. any help with what this part is supposed to look like would be helpfull. mine has 2, 2 post prongs on at center bottom and one at top left. also the plastic is white. |

Post a picture of what you have. This will make ID'ing part easier. It is probably P/N switch mounted on the column???

Well i checked my stock the one i have only has one 2 post prong. Sorry I would have given it to you it was the right one.

It could be the ignition switch on the column, I dont know if you know which one ,it would be the one in the middle of the column with all the wires on it.
