Saw this stretched truck by road today
I was on my way to my sister's house today, and I noticed this truck today. Funny thing is I know that I've seen it out of the corner of my eye a bunch of times, but today was the first time I actually noticed it. What do you guys think of it? I think the cab would look better on a longbed or longhorn frame with the back choped to fit a standard shortbed box. I just think it looks funny with no space between the cab and back tire. Sorry for the quality of the pic, but all I had was my cell phone and it was kinda far from the road.
PS: I like the fact that it's a GMC, you don't see any of these stretched

Re: Saw this stretched truck by road today
Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the back doors do open, thought I'd mention it since you can't really tell in the pic.

Re: Saw this stretched truck by road today
It looks like someone put it together more for purpose (hauling extra people) than looks.

Re: Saw this stretched truck by road today
Looks like Nissan copied off of that truck.I know the conversion companies made stretched cabs on standard frames cutting the ront of the bed short.

I'm with Tim, it looks like an original aftermarket conversion.

Grab a good camera and go take some close-ups. I love to see these converted trucks.

Re: Saw this stretched truck by road today
Do they take 2 cabs and weld them together? Looks like a long bed and a cab piggy backin a cab. Man....lotta work for what you get. Wonder how much road noise your passengers get sitting on the rear axle??

Re: Saw this stretched truck by road today
For the sake of this thread, you gotta get a few more pictures. That looks very intresting. Go knock on the owners front door, of course in the afternoon and tell him your story.
