umm.. i preffer keeping all weapons concealed..
letting peopl eknow you have one back there is "broadcasting" for a break in..
just my two cents.. and they make TONS of slimline hardcases that will fit behind your seat..
just my opinion

I agree with Mitchell whole heartedly. I am a gun dealer on the side and see several vehicles broken into every month to get guns. I carry a rifle and a shotgun behind the seat and 2 handguns under the seats and 1 on my hip. Never know when you might need one. Keep them hidden away so you don't loose them.

God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.

I've got a couple pairs of these mounts and had them so long I don't remember where I got them. They work well. I also have scabbards in front and behind the seat.

Re: Rear window gun rack , where ?

Keeping your long gun concealed is impractical if you are hunting, which may be what he is doing.

Otherwise, if you plan on leaving it in there, look here: http://www.galls.com/category2.html?...talog&cat=2693

We had the shotguns and/or AR's overhead in our cars when I was a reserve, and they were real stable and didn't rattle around. Which was a good thing since the majority of our roads are gravel.

I used to have a fabric bench seat cover with a built-in scabbard in the front. Worked well when I used it.

Re: Rear window gun rack , where ?

Thanks for the feedback,

I ended up finding what I was looking for on Ebay, its called an allen 2 gun rack, they do a steel and a plastic one, the plastic one looked a little better to me and it was 80 cents cheaper ( yes !! ).

Im from New Zealand so wont be using it to carry guns round in plain sight, Id spark a nationwide manhunt in seconds if I did, our gun laws differ a fair bit from those in the states. I dont actually even own a gun just like the look of the racks and get a fair bit of grief from friends about my truck being 'redneck' so am playing along.

Thanks again.
