Re: 72 c-10 350/350 - the wylie new guy
is your distributor on the front side of your motor? I didn't know GM ever did that on a 350?

Re: 72 c-10 350/350 - the wylie new guy
It looks like it has the 4 bolt holes for a Holley and or Edle/Quadrajet. Or is it the acctual 4 bore holes that is the problem. What if you use a spacer/adaptor. That would/should bring the carb up to give the butterflyes room. You would want an open bore addapter. AZ sells them. I'll show you next time I see you.
Sure is a different looking intake. What kind is it? Can't tell what it says. Last edited by LOW DOUGH; 04-08-2009 at 05:28 PM. |

Re: 72 c-10 350/350 - the wylie new guy
Thats an Edelbrock C4B. It's got big runners that are similar to the Z28 intakes & it is from the pre-HEI days so HEI wont fit. You could try one of those small-cap HEI's that everybody seems to have nowadays. It's considered retro now...

Re: 72 c-10 350/350 - the wylie new guy
not trying to sell it, it was more of a coincidence, that's why i said it. my bad.
i bought the adapter today, 22.51 with the discount. i don't beleive chevrolet ever had a front mount dizzy (atleast in a V8) hopefully i wont have any clearance issues after the adapter is on. i don't think i will but if i do then idk what i'll do. i won't swap the intakes back, that's for sure, i cant afford any more gaskets. i spent my last dollar on the adapter so let's hope i don't need too many more parts to make this thing run |

So now there's a Corvette option and an Impala option?
