before i put headers on

so i heard people are having troubles with headers lining up and fitting.. i bought some flowtechs from autozone that were made for my truck (1972) 402 big block.. anybody else bought these and put them on no problems or do i need to do some fab work to get them to fit.. am i in for a long journey?

Yeah, that's the best advise. For future reference, get your headers through Summit Racing. Their own brand of headers are SUPER cheap and fit with no mod's...

I had to clearance the frame slightly for the tubes.They are only 1 3/4,not sure who makes a 2 inch that fits right.
