Quick question on Bed reassembly

Ok,
I'm in the process of reassembling a bed, having converted from a wood bed to a metal floor. When you reassemble the front bed panel and the sides, should you put anything in place for the metal to metal contact points? (Seam sealer or anything like that?) In the future, I'll rhino line the bed, but wanted to avoid any potential problems.

Thanks for all your help.

Re: Quick question on Bed reassembly

I removed a front panel from an original truck, and there was no type of sealer there.
