Pics of 5.3/6.0 with carb

Still undecided of going fuel injected or carbed?

Cant beat the throttle response dependability Of fuel injection. And you can program it to do what ever you want

What about that truck makes you want to go carb? I mean no disrepect to that project, it looks awesome. But is the look of the intake and carb you like vs. the look of the FI manifold/setup?

If you have the $$$ I say go FI. It is really hard to beat. I want to someday put a LS style motor in my 68 or another build someday, but I got a deal on my motor and need to put the money in getting the body and interior finished.
If money isn't a problem then go FI. You can upgrade and tune to make all the power you want or need.

Money is not the issue. I really love the F/I. Im only doing the ls swap for show not racing bit i am putting a loud choppy cam. I think its the looks that draws u in. The intake and air filter on top instead of just the original black intake and covers u see on the f/i.

I am doing a FI 6.0 swap but agree that for the look, it looks nice with a TB/Carb on top with a filter when compared to the truck intakes. but I think the LS1/6/FAST intakes are s3x but you have to do some modification or run the F-body serp set up.
Plus with a Carb you remove all the electronics, some like that idea, others (like me) look forward to the tuning ability of the PCM and getting the power and MPGs from the set up.

I hear ya. Not sure what cam you want, but you can get a pretty mean sound even with FI. Check out You Tube and search for the 6.0 GTO with a big cam. Sounds amazaning.
