6.0 with fuel injection build in a truck
Anyone done this yet? I figured the GTO would be the best start at a project like this? or maybe some other vehicle would be better. I would like to get a modern 6.0 with FI backed by a auto tranny. I am doing this set up in a daily driver C10. Who has done it? Where did the motor tranny come from? what years of stuff to look for?

Board member Lucky H. did one...His motor came from a yukon I think and he went with the carb/msd controller setup

Don, is putting a 6.0 from a burb or yukon in incredible hulk, you can see this in the projects section.

Re: 6.0 with fuel injection build in a truck
I have a 6.0 from an '03 Escalade in my 68 C10. FAST XFI computer and FAST harnesses. No tranny yet. I'm gonna try and run the GM 6 speed automatic X15R with it. It can be done. Just trying to figure out if I want to spend $3300 on the tranny.

Re: 6.0 with fuel injection build in a truck
What kind of money is everyone spending on the components?
Ill look through everyones build thread. I am thinking more along the lines of an LS2 set up with auto tranny. I found everything brand new for 10k. Im sure I can get a wrecked GTO or something for less with an auto tranny. |
