tilt conversion question
When I convert from non tilt to tilt do I use the spring at the bottom end of the shaft before the coupling ?

Yes you do that is the way they came from factory. it does keep lower bearing from popping out of place.

I stand corrected. Neither of my trucks has the same spring at the end of the shaft that the non-tilt columns have. All I have on mine is the retaining clip that I thought holds the bearing in place??
