What is the differance between the 6 cyl and v8 sending units?? THANKS

I think the basic difference is the 6 cyl's are 5/16" and the 8 cyl's are 3/8"

I could be wrong but I thought Sixes and Small Blocks were 5/16" line and Big Blocks were 3/8" line. Other than that they will interchange.

inline six, and 2 bbl small blocks had 5/16 fuel line
V6, small block with 4 bbl carb, and big blocks, all had 3/8 fuel line.
