Power steering

My manual gear box is worn out, can I replace it with a power steering gear box without installing a pump. Will that make it harder to turn? Can I loop both ends of the gear box to keep dirt out? I have a 292 and it might take me a little while to find the pump brackets, otherwise I would bolt on a pump. It seems silly to get a new manual gear box.

Re: Power steering

Sorry, not a good idea. you'll have to get a pump, brackets, hoses, etc. first.
Good luck with your search.
