Re: I cant believe I'm finally posting on this site!

1970 was one of the best years for the 472 (7.7L). Bone stock it was rated at 375hp/525tq. This engine was meant to haul a 5200lb. deville with 5 people and all their crap. Not to mention it was the same engine used for limo's,hearse's and ambulances. Now put that engine in a 'lil pick'em up and look out! Put a 2000 stall converter in it and some 3.42/3.55 gears in it and it will come alive!! Any vids of what it sounds like??? Pleeeeeaase??

It's great she's involved........allows for more time and funding dedicated to the project.

Lots of room in the bay for the Caddy engine. You might consider a 14 bolt vs. a 12 bolt..especially if it's a one-legger. Around here 14 bolt are more plentiful and less expensive than a 12 bolt. Of course your lug pattern will change.

I'm great full for sure. She worked all day making them. And right now I have more important things on the truck to be saving for. Rear tires are next.

Thanks for the info too. I never really considered a 14 bolt. I'm doing some research now that way when the 10 bolt grenades I'll be ready. The next one will be posi too.
