Re: Just wanted you to know.

Here's my opinion:

Looks like a great time. I can't wait.

Although, it would be nice if my engine was back in my burb by then.

Anybody bringing parts this time?

What's on the menu? I didn't see anything about donations or pitching in?

Thanks for hosting this.

Yeah, lots of parts and a few complete project trucks. No telling what you will find hiding around here.

Menu is same as last year with the same man and equipment doing the cooking.
Barbecue, grilled chicken quarters, burgers, dogs, brats, and thick sliced barbecue bologna. We'll put tater salad, coleslaw baked beans, and anything else we can think of with it.

I didn't put up a begging thread here as we have one on the Tennessee board. If anyone wants to send anything our way it would be appreciated. We just want folks to come and enjoy themselves. Hope to see your whole gang this year.

Re: Just wanted you to know.

I just may get a wild hair and ride my bike down there.I am 99% sure I`ll have it roadworthy by then.it`s the only thing I have right now that might be up to the trip. It`s no long distance hiway machine, but maybe I could take the extra time and run the two lanes down.
If anyone from within 100 miles or so of Baltimore or DC is considering this great occasion, please consider me for shotgun rider.I`d throw in 1/2 for a rental car if need be,too.I`d be camping,so don`t worry about the snoring (I sure Ron has a distant corner for me to pitch my tent).I don`t want a free ride.Just not set to travel in either of my trucks right now.

Get a wild hair...just do it..."See Tennessee"

I'll look around for some Wildroot hair cream to send you. It would be great to have you here if you can make it happen.

Re: Just wanted you to know.

That`s what my dad called the hair style greasers had where the hair slicked back in the front made a full role.I think the name has to do with Elvis. When you said Wildroot that`s what I pictured.
I`ve been looking forward to this happnin since late last year. We`ll meet up sooner or later.
