leaf springs
whats up guys? hope everybody is doing well. my 69 chevy 2wd is a factory leaf truck, my question is are these leafs the same as in a 4wd? just curious if they are different what is the difference? thanks

Not sure about '69-up, but '67-'68 4X2 leaf springs are different that '67-'68 4X4 leaf springs.

OK then, what are the differences? I know there were 4 pack and 6 pack springs. I know 4Xs are listed separate from 2Xs. But I have never found a listing with measurements. At some point down the road, I need to replace my broken spring, but uh, after I fix/replace the engine...

the po removed the middle leaf to drop the rear, and this makes for a rough ride. i have owned a few of these trucks but they were always coil trucks. i like the leafs, its something different. i have a complete rolling coil chassis i was thinking about using for the truck, if the leafs were gonna be hard to find.
