I heard they shake and wobble when half way up........

And they are a Pita if you have a chop....

Good luck with it. They look real good though.

Re: repop doors and 1 piece window

The problem with the repop doors is that the window gap is too wide. GM doors have a 1" gap and the reproductions have one that can vary from 1 1/6" to 1 1/4", so the scrapers do not touch the windows. The single piece side window kits have to use the scrapers to stablize the window when it is partialy rolled down, because enough of the glass does not stay in the channels to do so. If you want to use the single piece side windows with the repop doors you will have to narrow the gap for the window. I have been complaining to the manufacturer for years about this issue, and even though I have sent many many pictures with dementions to illistrate the problem, I have been called someone who is just trying to get credit for parts. Untill all of the retailers stand together and complain, I don't see any changes. WES

Re: repop doors and 1 piece window

Mine are in repo doors and they don't rattle... I'll admit if halfway down there's nothing supporting the front of the window so it would move around but that has nothing to do with the door itself. I pretty much either roll it all the way down or up. The channels hold the glass tight and no air comes in when rolled up all the way.
I didn't buy the repos so can't tell you who makes them. The issue I have is they don't seal real tight on the door seal... just enough to let some air in at the top rear when going above 65mph. That and they use really thin metal... just got a ding near the passenger door handle
